How to hold your weapon

Here's a short video of Steve Fisher from Magpul Dynamics. He's sharing about why so many of the Magpul instructors (and now class attendees) shoot with this unique stance. As he notes, this is not something that they've developed or are taking credit for, but they find it's one of (if not the) best ways to keep the gun under control as you move from target to target.

Of course in airsoft you are not generally concerned with recoil (though with GBBRs and some of the new recoil/blowback systems you need to think about a little recoil), but the main advantage of this position is that you can move your muzzle from target to target without over-swingging and having to come back to get on point.

I use an AFG on most of my airsoft guns and while it takes a little getting used to, I agree with Steve Fisher that it is definitely a more efficient way to handle your weapon.
